We’re pleased to offer a wide range of convenient Australia-wide shipping options for you, and we want to remove the guesswork for you and offer convenient flat shipping fees and FREE shipping via Australia Post for certain items.

 

Estimated Dispatch Timeframes

 

We aim to dispatch orders within 1 - 2 business days.

 

Occasionally, we will need to locate stock across our store network to fulfil your order. Where your order has multiple items or quantities, we may need to dispatch your order across multiple shipments (split order). You will be provided with a tracking number and email notification for each shipment (partially shipped).

 

If you selected Click & Collect, your selected store will contact you via telephone once your order has been set aside for you and ready for your collection. Our Online team will be in contact with you in the event of any delays regarding your order.

Free Shipping on Standard Orders over $99*

 

Our Free Shipping offer is subject to the following terms and conditions:

 

  • Free shipping is only valid to destinations within Australia
  • To qualify, your order must be greater than $99 (after any sale discounts or coupons are applied)
  • Products labelled 'Clearance' are excluded from free shipping offer
  • The order value is not inclusive of any quoted freight charges or installation charges
  • Offer excludes Big & Bulky, Oversized and Commercial custom quote products
  • This offer only applies to orders placed online for delivery
  • This free shipping offer may be withdrawn or altered at any time without notice
  • Online orders must meet the above criteria in full to qualify for free shipping

Delivery Time Estimations

 

Please note, the above delivery timeframes are estimates and are not guaranteed. Whilst we endeavour to work closely with couriers to ensure prompt delivery, once your order is dispatched, we are unable to control timeframes which can be impacted by weather events, courier depot processing and unforeseen delays. What items are classed as big and bulky/oversized?

 

Items that exceed 22kg and/or 105cm in length, as well as irregular shaped or items marked with a big and bulky or oversized label may be classed as big and bulky/oversized. Items that meet this criterion are labelled as such and include ‘Delivery Charges Apply’ on product page for transparency.

 

Individual items 60kg + are labelled 'pick up only', however if you would like us to quote for delivery, please call 1800 T K Depot or onlinesales@toolkitdepot.com.au. If your combined total order shopping cart weight exceeds 60kgs, a custom shipping quote will be required, or you may choose to submit your cart over multiple orders to avoid delays.

 

Are there any exceptions to items being shipped?

 

Some items that we stock are not able to be shipped, such as trailers or cement mixers. Products that are unable to be shipped are labelled as ‘pick-up only’ or ‘click and collect’ for your convenience. Please note, to ensure that we meet dangerous goods restrictions, we will not undertake pre-starts or tests on items that are shipped.

 

What if I live in a different country?

 

Unfortunately, we don’t have the capacity to support international shipping currently. An alternative around this may be having your item shipped to a friend or relative within Australia for on-shipping to you.

 

What is your shipping policy?

 

We aim to have orders received by 12:30 pm AEST processed to be packed and dispatched the same business day your order is placed. Any orders received after 12:30 pm AEST will be processed on the next business day. Once we have dispatched your order, we will send you an email with shipping details and tracking number.

 

Please follow the link in the email to track your order and check the estimated arrival date. Whilst we do our best to estimate delivery time accurately, all delivery timelines are estimates and are subject to change. For the most up-to-date delivery information once your order has been dispatched, please refer to the tracking information in your shipping confirmation email.

 

What if my item is lost in transit?

 

Whilst we hope this never occurs, if your item does not make it to you, please reach out to our team at onlinesales@toolkitdepot.com.au so we can work together to resolve the issue.

 

How do I cancel my order?

 

Provided we haven’t dispatched your order already, please reach out to our team at onlinesales@toolkitdepot.com.au to check the status of your order and cancellation options available to you.

 

Dangerous Goods

 

Where your order contains Dangerous Goods, Tool Kit Depot reserves the right to dispatch in-line with Carrier and legislative requirements. Your order may therefore be adjusted to be road express rather than air freight to adhere to these requirements. If your order cannot be dispatched via AusPost Express Post, we will refund the shipping fee difference between express post and standard post shipping.

 

Delivery to PO Box / LPO

 

Where your order contains products labelled as Big & Bulky and/or Oversized, or where your order is bulk quantity purchase, delivery is not possible to PO Box / LPO, and a physical address will need to be provided to avoid dispatch and delivery delays.

 

Same Day Delivery

What is Same Day Delivery?

 

Our Same Day Delivery offering is a fast and convenient way to get the tools you need for the job sooner. The service is currently available for deliveries to Metro SA, WA and VIC that are ordered before 12pm Monday – Friday. At this point in time, Same Day Delivery is only available for orders that have a maximum cubic weight of 25kg.

 

You will only be able to complete a Same Day Delivery order if all items in your cart are available and in-stock for your delivery location. Certain products are not available for same day delivery such as big and bulky, oversized, or hazardous goods. These include things like lawn mowers, wheelbarrows, and generators.

 

How Does Same Day Delivery Work?

Our Same Day Delivery offering is as easy as 1, 2, 3!

  • Shop online and find your desired product that reflect 'same day' label and add to your shopping cart
  • At checkout, select Same Day Delivery as your shipping option and complete checkout process
  • Your order will be delivered to your selected delivery address within the same day, providing the order was made before 12pm and meets the Same Day Delivery order criteria

To comply with social distancing rules our courier drivers will leave your order in a safe place outside you chosen address.

Please note the below same day delivery offer by region: Order before 12pm Monday – Friday in Metro SA, WA and VIC. Some Public Holidays are excluded from Same Day Delivery, such as Christmas Day, Good Friday, Anzac Day and other region specific public holidays.

 

Are all products available for Same Day Delivery?

 

At this stage there are certain products that are not available for Same Day Delivery and these exclusions include: 

  • Products with cubic weight over 25kg  
  • An order with a combined shopping cart weight of 25kg +
  • Hazardous or Dangerous Goods  
  • Items that are only available for click and collect (pick-up only)
  • Oversized orders which that exceed the dimensions below:  
    • MAX Cubic Weight = 25kgs Total  
    • Maximum length – 1.2m 
    • Maximum Height 0.70m 
    • Maximum Width 0.70m 
    • Maximum cubic – 0.25m3 

What does it cost for Same Day Delivery?

 

For a limited time, Same Day Delivery will be $15 per order.

 

What happens if my order is placed after 12pm?

 

In some cases, you may still be able to receive your order on the same day, however typically your order will be delivered the following day.

 

What happens if I’m not home when my delivery arrives?

 

Your order will be left in a secure place or, if there is no safe drop area for the parcel to be left, the courier will return the order to the store. In this instance, you will need to contact us to organise another courier which may not arrive on the same day depending on the timeframe.  

 

What if I receive my delivery and there are items missing?

Why did my Same Day Delivery order not go through?

 

Tool Kit Depot takes security very seriously, and a major part of that is ensuring that orders are placed by the legitimate cardholder. This keeps our customers, other credit card holders and Tool Kit Depot safe. If we are unable to verify a purchase, we may decline out of caution. At times, we may decline in error and your order can be escalated for a manual review. If the manual review process is successful, your order will be processed for dispatch with priority. If we are unable to proceed with your order, we will immediately arrange to process a full refund back to original payment method. Please understand, our internal security process is not a reflection on you as a shopper, but as a business we must take all necessary precautions when processing online transactions.

 

Why is my order not valid for Same Day Delivery despite me having a metro postcode?

 

Due to driver availability, there are some postcodes that do not qualify for Same Day delivery yet. If your post code is within the eligible catchment, you will see Same Day Delivery at checkout.
