SAT1 is a self-amalgamating, highly adhesive synthetic rubber and resin-based tape that 'cures' into a single mass upon application. Designed for durability, it is ideal for sealing, waterproofing, and insulating applications.
Self-amalgamating tape for sealing, waterproofing, and insulating applications.
Cures into a single mass upon application for a secure and durable bond.
Resistant to harsh environments and operating temperatures from -30°C to 70°C.
Easy to apply with a 50% overlap; stretches for optimal fit without air entrapment.
Compatible with UL, NEMA, IEC, and JIS standards.
Specifications
Dimensions: 20mm x 5m.
Material Composition: Butyl rubber-based adhesive.
Continuous Operating Temperature: -30°C to 70°C.
Short-Term Exposure Temperature: Up to 100°C (max. 2 hours).
Breakdown Voltage: 30 kV/mm.
Elongation: 1000%.
Tensile Strength: 0.5 N/mm² (standard); 0.7 N/mm² after 96 hours at 100°C.
Remove the separator and stretch the tape gently to reduce its width by 4-5mm during application.
Wrap with a 50% overlap to ensure proper sealing.
Avoid air entrapment while applying.
In cold weather, warm the tape to room temperature before use.
Store away from direct sunlight, especially in hot weather, to prevent difficulties in removing the separator.
Conformant with UL, NEMA, IEC, and JIS standards
For applications requiring filling or shaping, mould the tape beforehand to avoid air entrapment.
