    Makita battery lawnmower

Posted by Marilyn Williams on 30th Jan 2025

Absolutely YES I was skeptical, but I figured I can return it if I’m not happy. First mow, lawn has been neglected for a while because no one wants to get paid to mow lawns anymore. Standard 1/4 acre block, front yard done in 45 minutes (2 complete batteries) back yard took about 30 minutes and had power left over in the second pair of batteries. Mulched, so I didn’t have to stop to empty a catcher, lawn needs the food. 100mm cut setting means no more burnt lawns. Yes, I could have done the job faster if I’d used the self-propelled feature, but I wanted the workout and to see how hard manual mode was. My next purchase will be a Makita Whipper snipper that can share batteries with my lawnmower.
