- Max Recommended Working Temperature / Exposure: 1100°c
- Max Short Term / Momentary Heat Resistance: ~1600°c
- For protection against heavier sparks & spatter, etc
- Also used for heat treatment / stress relieving / heat retention (wrapping of heated objects to slow cooling)
- Gives off very minimal gas/fumes when burned, for safer use and to prevent surface contamination when used to wrap objects
- Heavy 1200 gsm fabric for increased durability and insulation properties
- Softer and more flexible than glass fibre fabrics
Applications
- For protection against sparks, spatter, slag, light molten splash, and intermittent flame
- Suitable for protecting objects during grinding, welding, oxy cutting, gouging, etc
- Also a good choice for heat treatment / stress relieving (wrapping of heated objects to slow cooling), being a softer & flexible fabric
